The La Flor Dominicana Salomon was a limited release (only 3000 boxes made) perfecto cigar that was rated by Cigar Aficionado at a 95 - a rating that a lot of cuban cigars never get close to! These "Salomones" cigars are huge and weigh in at 7 inches long with a 64 ring guage. It's a good thing they only come 10 cigars per box because these things will cure your cigar craving for quite some time. Litto Gomez blended these cigars in late 2008 and decided to limit the product due to the size being atypical.

As mentioned, La Flor Dominicana went all out with the Salomones. They put it out as a limited edition, made it a huge Figurado shape, and blended it perfectly. This drove the guys from Cigar Aficionado nuts apparently because it's almost impossible to get a 95 rating from them. You will likely taste plenty of spice from the Ligero blend that La Flor Dominicana has made so famous. There are also notes of black pepper, cream, and full-bodied smoke.
